Dr. Benjamin Feintuch
Dr. Feintuch is a proud graduate of Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, he continued his training at North Shore University Hospital, where he completed a General Practice Residency followed by a two-year Fellowship in Implants and Advanced Prosthetics. The fellowship focused on the surgical placement of dental implants as well as the restoration of complex dental reconstructions. Immediately following the completion of his fellowship, Dr. Feintuch worked in private practice in Great Neck, where he grew up, as well as in Manhattan and Queens.
Dr.Feintuch is experienced in all phases of cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry. His goal is to give each patient the best treatment, all under one roof.
He is a proud Member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Nassau County Dental Society, and the Second District Dental Society. Dr. Feintuch earned Fellowship status in the prestigious, International Congress Of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). This is an honor which the ICOI bestows on a dental professional for their efforts in education, research and significant clinical experience in the field of dental implants.
Dr. Feintuch has lectured and published on the topic of dental implants. He was featured in an article in the American Dental Association News for his volunteer efforts in providing dental care to victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
Dr. Feintuch is happily married to his wife Rachel, a physician, and enjoys spending his free time playing basketball, golfing, fishing, and traveling.
Dr. Robert Polowczyk
Dr. Robert Polowczyk is a graduate of New York University School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he did a general practice residency at New York University Downtown hospital.
Dr. Polowczyk is a member of the American Dental Association. He was elected a fellow of the American College of Dentists' and elected to the Pierre Fouchard Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Polowczyk is a past president of the Nassau County Dental Society, former member of the NY State Dental Association Council on Education, and a past member of the SUNY Farmingdale School of Dental Hygiene Advisory Board.
In addition to 13 years as Director of the Department of Dentistry at St. Mary's Hospital for Children, Dr. Polowczyk was an attending dentist at Queens General Hospital, teaching in their general practice residency program for nearly 20 years.
He is currently a long term (very active) member of the Nassau County Dental Society Peer Review.
Dr. Polowczyk is married to his wife Susan for more than 40 years. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, golf, gardening and fishing.

Catherine Barteldt, Office Manager
Catherine is a great new addition to the Manhasset Miracle Smile family! With 30 years of experience in dental offices, and a proven track record of excellent customer service, Catherine is determined to help every patient enjoy the excellent dental services our doctors provide. Her goal is to help patients in any way possible, and she is happy to smooth the way to amazing smiles!
A life-long resident of Long Island, she has a BA from Queens College. Catherine enjoys alone-time with books, as well as family time at hockey games and movie trivia contests.
Mary Schiaffo, Registered Dental Hygienist
Mary attended SUNY Farmingdale and has certification and knowledge in enamel therapy, caries prevention, biofilm reduction, and overall systemic health. She is gentle yet thorough when she treats patients. Her focus is to make patients feel comfortable. Mary like to keep her patients informed and, in turn, she learns from interacting with them. Her community involvement includes participation in the PTA and Family Parish Ministry.
Mary comes from a large family and has two children, 14-year-old Brendan and 11-year-old Megan. Her hobbies include yoga, reading, visiting the beach, and watching her children’s activities.
Kathleen, Dental Assistant
As Dr. Feintuch's dental assistant, Kathleen works chairside with both Dr. Feintuch and Dr. Polowczyk. It is her job to record patient health history and to prepare and maintain the equipment in the office. She also ensures your safety and comfort during your visit. Kathleen has a 2 1/2 year old Rescue rottweiler named Saorise, which is Gaelic and means "Freedom." Kathleen enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, watching movies and cheering for her favorite teams- the Yankees and the Rangers.
